Vince Lombardi
Thirteen-year-old Talon Carmody experienced life-threatening injuries on April 28, 2024, including a broken neck, back, and clavicle, along with a traumatic brain injury (TBI) the Drs induced him into a coma for several months to stabilize his condition.
After the accident, Talon was airlifted to a children’s hospital, where a dedicated team of doctors was ready to evaluate his condition. Due to the extent of his injuries, they placed a bolt in his skull to monitor intracranial pressure and collect biochemical markers of brain activity. To stabilize him, they induced a coma. His injuries included grade three axonal brain shearing, fractures of the T6 and C6 vertebrae, a fractured skull and clavicle, and a lacerated liver with bruised lungs.
Despite these significant challenges, Talon continues to impress his medical team with his progress. We invite you to join us in praying for his recovery and supporting him as he diligently works to regain strength and function.
